Constructing a Modern Industrial Warehouse
Cross-functional team delivers a site primed for vertical construction
Partnering with Ordner Construction, the Cardinal Civil Contracting teams brought this industrial warehouse to life in Clayton, NC.
Cardinal Civil is proud to showcase the comprehensive site work completed for the Mixson industrial warehouse project. Alongside Ordner Construction, the cross functional team from Cardinal handled all aspects of site development to craft the base for this project’s vertical construction.
Utility crews installed a grinder manhole and sanitary sewer force main to connect this new build to the municipal sanitary sewer system. This project included the installation of more than 1,750 linear feet of storm drainage and 4,000 linear feet of waterline. These crews brought the essential infrastructure to support long-term operations for this new facility.
Grading crews moved 6,850 cubic yards of earth, preparing a solid foundation ahead of vertical construction. This grading was essential to prepare to install 2.7 acres of building pad space with 13,100 square yards of concrete stabilization. Cardinal Civil’s Aviator Paving team was vital to the structural integrity of this foundation.
Looking ahead, the completed site work from the grading, paving and utility teams will provide the launchpad for this modern industrial warehouse. The Cardinal Civil team looks forward to seeing this completed site post vertical construction and partnering with Ordner Construction for more foundational work for future projects.
