Glenn Crossing

Cardinal Civil Contracting was selected by Starlight Homes for the Glenn Crossing Development in Northeast Durham. Glenn Crossing sits on 51 acres and is composed of 278 Townhome lots. Our turnkey onsite scope of work included site demolition, erosion control, clearing & grubbing, mass grading, retaining walls, storm drainage, sewer & water systems, curb, stone and asphalt paving.

Onsite sitework highlights include mass grading and handling of over 204,000 CY of dirt, laying 22,711 LF of pipe for the storm drain, sewer and water systems, installing 2.2 miles of curb & gutter and laying 20,830 SY of asphalt pavement.

In addition to the onsite scope of work, the project consisted of extensive offsite improvements including the construction of a state of the art sewer pump station, a significant public road widening and sewer force main pipe installation.

Throughout the project, Cardinal Civil Contracting is utilizing state of the art GPS grading and earthwork estimating and modeling software to provide value engineering options, achieve high production rates and deliver high accuracy grade control.
